California native CatDraggon is a psych-rock artist reviving the grit of 60s blues-rock through a Latin and neo-psychedelic lens. She blends blues-rock, retro cumbia, and raw, soulful vocals to explore themes of resilience, shaped by loss, bullying, and toxic relationships. Raised in a lineage of singers, CatDraggon developed a voice that is both unrestrained and emotionally potent rooted in classical training and inspired by iconic Latin vocalists like Mercedes Sosa and Lola Beltrán. She cut her teeth fronting rock, blues, jazz, and grunge bands across LA and San Francisco, while also immersing herself in Europe’s underground techno scenes, she’s now fully returned to her north star, writing, producing and performing as a one-woman psych-rock force channeling the autonomy of Tame Impala with a distinctly Latin and blues-driven edge.
